Nimes - museum and crêpes

Leo, Anna, John and myself were dynamic and caught the early bus to Nimes to have some more time to explore. The morning had been very dark with heavy brown dust clouded from the Sahara. However the rain as the bus drove into Nimes washed the sky and by the time the rest of the family arrived the sun was starting to come out

The museum of Roman Life in Nimes was very impressive. They have managed to collect and preserve some very large and impressive mosaics and decorative stonework.
This is a sculpture of a little boy with a dog.
We found a Creperie with space for 8 and ate delicious savoury galette for lunch. As time was moving on we got taken away sweet crêpes. I really enjoyed watching the crêpes being cooked on a round griddle.
