Congenies gardens

After a busy day in Nime we had a day around Congenies helping local Quakers with the gardening work party and joining a shared lunch.

The front garden is managed by the resident friends.

In the back garden, when we visited in spring, the tulips were spectacular and the excellent supply of herbs enhanced our cooking. 

In the afternoon we just felt like a local walk so we wandered down teh back roads of Congenies and up teh hill towards Calvisson and the three windmills which offer a beautiful view down over the surrounding villages and countryside.
